"Injuries don't just sideline your body; they sideline your life. Whether it’s a lingering ache from your playing days or the physical tax of a high-stress career, 'just getting by' is a strategy that eventually fails.
Most people get stuck in the gap. You’ve finished physical therapy, but you aren't back to 100%. You’ve tried the standard massages, but the tightness returns 48 hours later. You’re looking for more than a quick fix—you’re looking for a specialist who understands the demands of an athletic lifestyle.
KO Recovery was built for the gap.
With over a decade of experience in the D1 collegiate and professional sports worlds, I don’t offer cookie-cutter routines. I provide a systematic approach that combines the neurological precision of Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) with the logic of elite strength and conditioning.
We don’t just treat symptoms; we restore the system.
If you are a former athlete, a dedicated lifter, or a high-performer who refuses to accept 'feeling old' as a baseline, you belong here. This isn’t about just feeling better for an hour—it’s about regaining the freedom to train, compete, and live without restriction.
The next level of your performance starts with your recovery. Take the first step."

Most franchises use a "one-size-fits-all" protocol performed by practitioners with minimal training. At KO Recovery we are all about catering the session to the athlete in all of us. It's not just about the stretching but using the right tool for the right job. A lot of sessions involve some combination of fascial stretching, cupping, instrument assisted massage, corrective exercise and a take home plan. Kody is also one of the few FST level 3 certified individuals in the area with 10 years of experience on the treatment table and in the weight room working with dozens of professional and collegiate athletes.
We do not bill insurance. We operate as cash pay performance and recovery boutique to ensure that your care is dictated by your goals and needs, not by what an insurance provider decides to cover. This allows us to spend more time with you and use the most effective tools available without third-party restrictions.
Some HSAs do cover sessions if it is recommended and deemed medically necessary to treat a specific condition.
No. You just need to have a body that moves.
While the methods I use—like Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) and Functional Movement Screening—are the "gold standard" for professional athletes, they are arguably even more beneficial for the "corporate athlete" or the busy parent.
If you sit at a desk for eight hours a day, travel frequently, or deal with the aches and pains of daily life, your body is under a different kind of stress. Whether your "game day" is a marathon, a round of golf, or simply being able to pick up your kids without back pain, you deserve the same level of care and precision that a pro athlete receives.
Physical Therapy is typically rehabilitative—it’s designed to get you from "injured" back to "functional," often focused on a single joint or post-surgical site. Once your insurance stops paying because you are no longer "limited," PT usually ends.
KO Recovery is different in three ways:
Global vs. Local: PT often looks at where it hurts (the knee). We look at the entire chain (the ankle, hip, and fascia) to see why that knee is being overloaded in the first place.
The "Gap" Specialist: We specialize in the space between "not injured anymore" and "performing at my peak." We take the foundation your PT built and layer on the mobility and strength needed for high-level activity.
Preventative, Not Reactive: You don't need a diagnosis or a referral to see us. We work with you to identify "red flags" in your movement before they turn into injuries that require clinical PT or surgery.
If you have a fresh, acute injury (you just felt a "pop," there is significant swelling, or you can't bear weight), your first stop should be a Physical Therapist or an Orthopedic Specialist.
I am not a Physical Therapist or a sideline Athletic Trainer, and I do not provide clinical diagnoses for acute medical conditions. My expertise begins once you have been cleared for activity. I specialize in the Return-to-Performancephase.
Think of it this way:
The Doctor/PT: Diagnoses the injury and handles the initial clinical repair.
KO Recovery: Handles the "Movement Gap." We identify the compensations your body made while you were hurt and rebuild your mobility and strength so you can return to your sport or gym routine better than you were before the injury.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a pain-free, assisted stretching system that focuses on the fascia—the connective tissue system that surrounds your muscles, nerves, and joints. Unlike traditional stretching which targets isolated muscles, FST uses rhythmic, spiraling movements to decompress your joints and create "space" in the body. It’s a complete nervous system reset that improves mobility instantly.
I hold a B.S. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. I hold certifications in Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 3 (since 2016, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (since 2015) as well as certifications in Precision Nutrition, Titleist Performance Institute and EXOS performance specialist.
You are actually the ideal candidate. Thinking you’re too inflexible for FST is like thinking you’re too dirty to take a shower. We don't expect you to be a yogi; our job is to find out why you are tight—whether it's protective tension, old scar tissue, or neural "braking"—and help your body finally let go.
It depends on your goal. Pre-event sessions are shorter and focused on "waking up" the nervous system and increasing blood flow to prime you for movement. Post-event sessions are deeper and more restorative, focused on down-regulating the nervous system and flushing the tissues to accelerate recovery. We can tailor your session based on where you are in your training week.
